Your role as a System Test Engineer at Movella

As a System Test Engineer you will be primarily responsible for testing the entire system/application in an integrated environment. You ensure that all components of the system work as expected as defined by the test cases and acceptance criteria. On a day-to-day basis, you will execute manual testing, field data collection, execute manual and automated tests in python and C++. You will be based in Enschede, the Netherlands.


Key responsibilities:

  • Work with a multidisciplinary scrum team to perform end-to-end testing on the complete system including hardware, software, and other peripherals.
  • Work with Product Owners to understand acceptance criteria and system requirements to ensure complete coverage.
  • Create, execute test plans and formulate release strategies.
  • Focus on the system as a whole, running both manual and automated tests.

Job requirements


Movella is looking for an independent and proactive System Test Engineer, someone who thrives in an environment where your proactiveness and can do attitude are highly appreciated. You have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related
  • Ability to design and excute detailed test cases based on the requirement.
  • Python and/or C++ programming skills is a plus
  • High proficiency in English.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytics, and a team player
