Your role as a Salesforce Administrator at Xsens

As a Salesforce Administrator at Xsens, you are responsible for managing and continuously improving our Salesforce platform to ensure it is optimized for our business and that users can effectively utilize its full potential.

A key part of this role is driving data quality and actionable insights, enabling sales and management teams to make better decisions around pipeline, revenue and forecasting.

 

In addition, this position has a strong focus on AI-enabled productivity and data intelligence. You will help us leverage AI tools and features (inside and outside Salesforce) to automate tasks, analyze large datasets, improve reporting, and support data-driven decision making across the organization.

You will be part of the Sales team and report to the Global Sales Manager. You will be based in Enschede, the Netherlands.

Key challenges:

Salesforce Enablement & Adoption

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce process documentation and training materials to ensure consistent execution across all users.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce methodologies, tools and processes, providing guidance and support to the sales organization.

 

User Management

  • Create and manage user accounts, roles and permissions.

  • Provide hands-on support and training for Salesforce users.

 

System Configuration & Automation

  • Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts and record types.

  • Implement process automation features such as Flows, validation rules and approval processes.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and smarter system design.

  • Manage SalesForce integrations (Hubspot, Business Central, Thales EMS etc.)

 

Data Management & Data Integrity

  • Import and export of data and maintain Data integrity within Salesforce

  • Proactively clean, structure and deduplicate data to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.

  • Define and maintain data governance principles to ensure data consistency across teams.

 

Reporting, Analytics & Revenue Insights

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility for stakeholders, including (but not limited to) our Executive team.

  • Closely work together with our Business Controller on reporting and revenue forecasting.

  • Analyze business needs and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.

 

AI & Data Intelligence

  • Leverage AI tools and capabilities to improve data analysis, reporting and operational efficiency.

  • Maintain and manage AI-enabled tools (e.g. forecasting support, reporting automation, data enrichment, or productivity tools) to support business teams.

  • Identify and implement AI-driven opportunities to improve pipeline visibility, revenue insights, and user productivity.

  • Ensure AI usage aligns with company standards around data quality, security and reliability.

 

Troubleshooting & Support

  • Identify and resolve issues within the Salesforce platform.

  • Work with Salesforce Support and external partners on escalated issues.

 

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain documentation of Salesforce processes, configurations and procedures.

  • Keep training materials up to date and aligned with new functionality.

 

Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Support, Operations) to align Salesforce functionality with business needs.

  • Coordinate with 3rd party developers on more complex integrations or development tasks.

Job requirements

Xsens is looking for a collaborative and analytically strong Salesforce Administrator, someone who thrives in an environment where your drive to improve sales performance is highly appreciated. You enjoy working at the intersection of systems, data and AI-enabled innovation.

 

You have:

  • Education: BSc degree in Engineering Management, Business Management or related.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator.

  • Certification: Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification required or preferred.

  • Skills:

Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization.

Strong proficiency in data management, reporting and analytics.

Solid understanding of data quality principles and data governance.

Experience working with AI-enabled tools and applying AI to improve business processes (preferred).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Qualifications:Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
