Your role as a Project Coordinator at Movella

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in successful execution of projects within Movella. You are responsible for supporting the VP Engineering and the Product Owners in ensuring that project activities run smoothly. You will report to VP Engineering and be part of the Engineering team. The Engineering team supports three Business Lines and comprises functions of Embedded Software Engineering, Application Software Engineering, Electronic Design, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Core Algorithms group. These functional teams each contribute to their respective technology stack that feed continuously into product design & development phases and throughout the product lifecycle for all the products.


Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables, coordinate meetings among stakeholders, and assist in developing project plans and schedules with the Product Owners 
  • Actively assess, track, and give feedback on deliverables slippage with along with options for corrective actions. Discuss and implement corrective actions with VP Engineering, communicate with stakeholders
  • Identify potential resource constraints and work with VP Engineering to resolve them
  • Identify and actively track project risks/issues with the Product Owners
  • Coordinate quality assurance (including external partner activites/dependencies)
  • Submit periodic standardized report on Project progress to the Executive team
  • Upgrade Project Management software tooling to the needs of the company in collaboration with Product Owners, in consultation with IT and VP Engineering

Movella is looking for a result driven and conscientious Project Coordinator, someone who thrives in an environment where your proactiveness and can do attitude are highly appreciated. You have:


  • Well organized; Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • 3+ years experience in project coordination/management with Engineering and Product development teams preferably in mixed hardware/software environments
  • Knowledge of product development complexities, product life cycles, resource planning/mapping and overall project management
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science or Engineering in general, Business management, Project management or a related area
  • High proficiency in English
  • A team player
