Your role as a Senior Product Manager at Movella

As a Senior Product Manager you are the linking pin between the market and our groundbreaking technology. The main objective of the role is to develop and manage the product roadmap for the entertainment market and take them to the next level, while working for leading clients in the film and gaming industry, such as Industrial Light & Magic, Ninja Theory, MPC and Ubisoft.

You will be responsible for analyzing the market and reviewing our product line. Furthermore, you will work on initiating, positioning and managing new product development ideas and act on new product development requests.


You will be based in our Los Angeles office (United States) along our enthusiastic commercial team. Working hybrid is an option. You will work closely with our engineering team in Enschede (The Netherlands). You will be part of the Business Unit Entertainmant and report to the Business Director Entertainment.


Key challenges :

  • Develop a deep understanding of the users and the context of use
  • Generate product ideas, create business models based on market research, customer visits and voice of the customer
  • Drive product vision and define roadmaps to create value for users and grow business
  • Work closely with key customers, sales and engineering to write and define the market requirements
  • Initiate and drive product launches
  • Provide input for the creation of publications, promotions and sales materials
  • Follow tech trends in VFX, Game Development and Broadcasting
  • Train the sales team on new products and features

Job requirements

Movella is looking for an action-oriented product manager with a passion for animation and VFX. Someone who can develop and maintain productive relationships both externally and internally to achieve the best product/market fit. You have a deep customer empathy and a passion for delivering amazing customer experience.

  • Professional and intellectual capacities at academic education level
  • Experience in the animation industry is a must
  • 5+ years product management or product development experience
  • Attention to detail while being decisive
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent technical and communication skills in English
  • A result oriented, highly motivated, enthusiastic attitude and self-starter mindset
  • The ability to travel
