Your role as HR Manager at Movella
As HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our global human resources strategy. You will oversee the full spectrum of HR operations—from budget management and labor market benchmarking to compliance, employee relations, and talent development. This is a leadership position with the opportunity to directly influence company culture, performance, and growth.
There is flexibility to work hybrid with the expectation of being onsite at least three days per week. The position is based at our office in Enschede, the Netherlands.
Key challenges :
Act as strategic partner in the management team, responsible for aligning people strategy with business goals, driving organizational culture, and ensuring effective leadership, talent, and change management.
Provide proactive advice and support to employees and managers on HR policies, employment law, performance management, and employee relations.
Act as the main liaison between the company and the Works Council
Define and implement training and development strategies to foster employee growth and organizational capability.
Serve as a cultural ambassador by shaping, promoting, and embedding the organization's values and desired culture across the organization.
Lead and develop the HR team (3 direct reports), supporting their growth and performance.
Foster strong, trust-based relationships with employees and leadership to enhance the employee experience.
Manage and enhance a competitive employment conditions package and policy to attract and retain top talent.
Prepare, manage, and monitor the personnel budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Analyze labor market trends and benchmarks to align salary policies with local market conditions.
Continuously develop and innovate HR processes in response to business needs and changing labor regulations.
Ensure full compliance with local labor legislation and employment standards.
Job requirements
Movella is looking for an HR Manager with a passion for people. Someone who thrives in an environment where their ability to engage and empower employees is highly appreciated. You have:
· Proven experience in a senior HR role
· In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and market compensation trends.
· Strategic mindset with hands-on operational ability.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
· Fluency in English and Dutch
· Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring a team
