Your role as an Electronics Design Engineer at Movella

As an Electronics Design Engineer you will take the lead in the design of mixed-signal electronic boards and circuits related to Xsens products. These products provide premium solutions for animation, human motion measurement, sports, healthcare, and industrial applications. You will be leading in selecting and characterizing electronic components, writing technical reports and specifications. You ensure that the design meets the requirements, safety standards and applicable regulations.

You will be part of the Product Engineering team and work closely with Embedded Software Engineering to define and map all digital interfaces. The role also requires frequent interaction with Systems Engineering and Product Management to drive the product development roadmap and contribute to proof of concepts. You align with suppliers on product design specification and manufacturing. You will be based in Enschede, the Netherlands.

Key challenges:

• Electronic design for new product developments and develop upon existing products
• Characterization of MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers
• Write specifications and technical reports
• Ensure products meet safety standards and applicable regulations
• Alignment with suppliers and manufacturers
• Setting up specifications and design of test equipment for our products
• Verification of hardware prototypes and products
• Writing component drivers and test applications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering
• 2 – 5 years of relevant experience as an Electronics Design Engineer Experience in Altium Designer for schematics and PCB design
• Embedded software C++, for writing test applications and drivers for components
• Analytical, result oriented and an eye for details
• Good communication skills, capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team
• High proficiency in Dutch and English
