Your role as an Account Executive at Movella
As our Account Executive for Humanoid and Robotics, you will play a key role in driving business growth with top-tier humanoid robotics companies. You will work closely with leading AI-driven robotics innovators and emerging players in bipedal robotics, human-machine interaction, Humanoid tele-operation and automation.
Your expertise in motion capture, sensor applications, and robotics will help our clients integrate precision movement data into their robotic systems, enhancing humanoid skill, balance, and real-world adaptability.
In this role you will be an agent for professional sales, with a strong focus on business development and results. You will be working closely with our Sales and Technical Support teams, Product Marketing Managers, Product Specialists,Customer Success, Marketing and Operations teams, to be the driving force behind the growth of our customer base and revenues globally. You will be the one to bring home new opportunities and secure long-lasting relationships with new Humanoid clients.
Key challenges:
Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand our footprint in the humanoid robotics sector, targeting key clients in Humanoid development, tele-operation and training, bipedal robotics, AI-driven automation, and advanced mobility.
Build and nurture relationships with executives, engineers, and R&D teams at companies like Boston Dynamics, Tesla, IIT Robotics and similar innovators.
Identify new business opportunities and proactively engage with decision-makers in the robotics, AI, and automation ecosystems.
Track industry developments and stay informed on the latest innovations in AI-driven humanoid movement, autonomous bipedal robotics, and sensor-based motion optimization.
Advise and coach the Product Management and Marketing teams on optimizing targeting strategies and enhancing solutions to better serve the humanoid robotics market.
Lead client education and product demonstrations, including live presentations, webinars, and workshops showcasing Movella’s technology.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring a consultative approach that demonstrates the value of Movella’s solutions.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our products and provide input for product development.
Ensure sufficient, accurate documentation and customer/contract information is recorded in Salesforce.com.
Forecast and track sales metrics.
Job requirements
The right candidate will have extensive experience and a strong track record in international business to business sales, while having a strong affinity to sensor applications and robotics.
Written and verbal communication skills and fluent English are a must, as is IT literacy. This position requires a highly motivated, self-starting sales professional with technical acumen, who is focused on results and can interface and communicate effectively at all levels. Also we are looking for a professional with:
Min. 5 years of experience and proven success in B2B sales in (high) tech high-tech, robotics, AI, or sensor applications
Proven track record of closing high-value deals in robotics, automation, AI, or related fields
Experience working with humanoid robotics companies, automation labs, or AI-driven motion analytics
Exceptional communication and presentation skills—able to engage C-level executives, engineers, and R&D teams
Knowledge and work experience with sensor applications in sports, ergonomics or health markets is a plus
Knowledge, understanding and experience with respect to modern CRM tools (SF.com)
The ability to plan and execute on a tight schedule
Proactive work attitude to solve problems and looks for opportunities to take on more responsibility
Customer centric with a strong focus on independent business development actions and result driven
Well organized, disciplined and professional sales funnel management
Able to work remotely
Analytical, written and oral communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel in an assigned region up to 30% of time
