Your role as Team Leader Quality Assurance at Movella

As Team Leader Quality Assurance you are responsible for leading a team of system and software test engineers. You ensure timely delivery and quality of market-leading products that focus on capturing, processing and sharing data on body and motion.

You will be part of the Engineering team, which is divided into four fields of expertise: Application Software Engineering, Embedded Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering and Quality Assurance. You report to the Director Engineering and will be based in Enschede, the Netherlands.

We are looking to fill this position starting Q4 2023. 

Key challenges :

• Lead and manage a team of Quality Assurance professionals
• Develop and maintain quality policies and procedures
• Work with other teams to identify and implement improvements in quality processes
• Develop and implement quality control plans for products and processes from raw materials to end product together with the department Operations and suppliers
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Make sure that quality assurance is embedded into the product development process
• Train and coach team members on quality principles, tools, and techniques
• Participate in execution of test tasks such as defining test strategies and cases, executing manual testing and field data collection, and test automation
• Advise, facilitate and support management to meet the established quality requirements and to support them in making responsible decisions about the integral quality policy

Movella is looking for an independent, ambitious and proactive Team Leader Quality Assurance. Someone who can focus on the bigger picture throughout day-to-day business. A person that has a vision on quality and can motivate and develop a team of test engineers. You have:

• A Bachelor/Master's degree in Science with a technical background (e.g. computer science)
• Several years of experience as Test Engineer, preferably with complex systems including hardware and software
• High proficiency in English and preferably in Dutch as well
• Experience in leading a team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
