Your role as a Product Specialist at Movella

As a Product Specialist in Health & Sports you are using your knowledge to technically support our customers and to provide pre- and post-sales support to our customer base in the Americas. Typically, you will support customers having applications in biomechanics research, sports science, rehabilitation and ergonomics.

With your customer and market insights you will also support the development of new products. You will be based in Los Angeles as part of our global sales and support team, located in The Netherlands, United States, Canada, China, and India. On a daily basis, you work with our Account Executives, and our worldwide team of product specialists. You will report to the Director of Customer Support.

Key challenges:

  • Provide technical support to Movella ’s customers to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
  • Present and demonstrate Movella products to potential customers (on-site, at conferences and by means of online webinars)
  • Identify opportunities to improve pre- and post-sales support for the Health & Sports market segment; Pro-actively take actions on identified opportunities
  • Support development of pre-and after sales tools (presentations, marketing material, tutorial videos, etc.)
  • Use feedback coming from the market to support and drive the development process

Job requirements

Movella is looking for a self-starting and responsible Product Specialist. Someone who thrives in an environment where entrepreneurial attitude is highly appreciated. You have:

  • Bsc or MSc degree in movement science and/or biomechanical engineering (or similar)
  • Preferably biomechanical knowledge and/or experience with human motion analysis
  • Experience in a technical support role is preferred
  • Interest in mobile device application development
  • Excellent technical and communication skills, fluent in English
  • Result oriented, highly motivated and enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work independently
  • The ability to travel frequently (up to 35% of your time)
