Your role as an IT Support Specialist at Movella

As an IT Support Specialist, you are making sure all Movella employees can rely on you to solve their IT challenges. You are responsible for a mix of Windows and MacOS systems in one of our support zones. This includes buying, installing, trouble shooting and disposing hardware and software.

Together with the other IT Support Specialists (spread across three support zones) you assure a global IT support coverage for all nine Movella offices. Supporting the organization to make efficient and effective use of the IT resources deployed. When needed you will coordinate with the contracted IT support company to provide the needed remote support or hands on-site. When applicable you collaborate with the global IT team to solve the most complex IT challenges or work together on IT projects to improve or expand the global infrastructure.

Key challenges:

  • 1st and 2nd line Incident management for local and remote users
  • Problem management; finding and documenting the root cause
  • Workplace setup, including device enrollment
  • Creating and updating technical and user documentation
  • Asset and configuration management
  • Advising and instructing users so they can get the best out of the IT services


Movella is looking for an IT Support Specialist with an entrepreneurial attitude who is not afraid to take responsibility. You are involved in the further grow of the IT infrastructure and services.   • A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, MacOS, Linux, Office 365 and MS Azure
  • General knowledge of networking
  • Experience with Autopilot, Intune and Apple Business Manager is a strong plus
  • Certifications in the field of Microsoft is a strong plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Flexibility in working hours, since we work globally
