Your role as an Application Software Engineer at Movella

As an Application Software Engineer at Movella, you'll be working on products that revolutionize the way we capture, process, and share data on body and motion. Our solutions are used in industries such as animation, sports, healthcare, and more. You'll collaborate with product management to turn their product requirements into reality and provide accurate implementation estimates.

As a member of our Engineering team, you'll work in an Agile/Scrum environment and be responsible for designing and implementing new software applications and apps, maintaining existing products, and improving user interfaces and data processing. You'll also interact with lead engineers, embedded software engineers, and hardware engineers to ensure smooth product development. You will be based in Enschede, the Netherlands.

Our core software layers are written in C++ and on top of that we develop our software applications using GUI frameworks like QT and Flutter. Knowledge in C++ and one of these tools and/or the willingness to learn these are required for this function.

Knowledge of App development, Azure Devops, Python and/or Dart are a plus. You'll also have a Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, and be fluent in English.
